Phil, a fitter and turner by trade and a Yarra Valley local, commenced Earthtrax in 1979 and is one of the industry’s most experienced and well regarded operators. If not fishing with his boys or enjoying his home property on the weekend, Phil can be found attending pony clubs and equestrian centers keenly watching his wife and daughters. He has extensive experience in nearly all variations of earthmoving, however his passion lies in property landscaping, including house and shed sites, driveways, dams and waterways, and horse arenas. There is arguably no one more experienced in the saddle of a Traxcavator than Phil, which is the perfect piece of machinery for large scape property scaping and horse arenas.

Joe has extensive experience in managing commercial earthmoving contracts throughout Victoria and operating a wide variety of earthmoving equipment. A long term friend of Phil’s, Joe joined Earthtrax in 2016 given his passion for earthmoving and his desire to experience the personal satisfaction of delivering an outcome which exceeds a client’s expectations. Joe is fastidious when it comes to caring for his equipment and with his approach to earthmoving.

Mel, a keen horse rider and Yarra Valley resident has worked closely with Phil over the past 10 years and is focused on the operational aspects of Earthtrax. Her passion lies in the business itself and providing Phil and his earthmoving team with the right business strategy to deliver their services to the right clients.

Earthtrax has extensive long term relationships with various earthmoving businesses and contractors and all of Melbourne’s major Plant Hires. If any aspect of your job requires specialist equipment or experience, or if the size of the job itself requires additional support, we can leverage our professional relationships to ensure that all resources utilised, are tried and tested. Where possible, we aim to work with local builders, shed companies, landscapers, horse arena surface suppliers, garden supplies and earthmoving contractors, as required.
